Yes, SOUPLETHANE 5 is designed for both new and rehabilitated applications, without the need for heavy demolition.
Does the product contain solvents ?
No, SOUPLETHANE 5 is 100% solvent-free and formulated with 100% solids components.
How to apply SOUPLETHANE 5 ?
- Preparation : check for humidity, temperature, dew point.
- Manual application (comb or notched roller) or by spraying.
- Cover time : 1 h (wall) to 5–72 h (floors).
- Completely dried in 24 hours.
What is the pot life after mixing ?
The pot life is 40 minutes after mixing.
Should you use a primer before application ?
Yes, the PU AQUEUX primer (150 g/m²) is recommended for good adhesion.
What types of finishes are possible with SOUPLETHANE 5 ?
- Anti-slip / softcarpet finish
- UV-resistant finish
- Colored quartz or chipped finish
- Glued or sealed tile installation (depending on the application)
I have a concrete pool with many cracks. Can SOUPLETHANE 5 be applied to this substrate ?
Yes, the particularity of SOUPLETHANE 5 is to bridge all cracks and to last over time.
Can SOUPLETHANE 5 be applied over EPDM ?
Yes, SOUPLETHANE 5 can be applied to all substrates : concrete, breeze blocks, wood, steel, EPDM, etc.
J'ai une terrasse carrelée. Peut-on appliquer SOUPLETHANE 5 par-dessus les joints ?
Yes, it is possible to cover the whole thing continuously.
How much should I apply ?
1 kg per m², if the substrate is clean.
Is the product uncomfortable when applied inside a house ?
No, there is no solvent or smell.
When to use PU AQUEUX ?
To prepare the substrate when it is damaged before applying SOUPLETHANE 5, especially if the concrete is powdery or mealy. You should plan for 150 g/m² or 1 kg for 7 m².
How long does it take to use the SOUPLETHANE 5 resin after mixing the 2 components ?
It is imperative to apply SOUPLETHANE 5 within 2 minutes of making the mixture, otherwise, the mixture will harden and become unusable. So not to be disturbed at the time of the planned work! Or it is possible to do small 3-to-1 dosages, i.e. 100 g of resin for 30 g of hardener.
When can you use SOUPLETHANE FLOOR ?
It is an anti-dust film that protects concrete, to be applied to garage floors and which allows easy maintenance and cleaning.

Does the coating prevent bacterial growth ?
Yes. Tests carried out by the MRI show an elimination of more than 99.99% of bacteria (including salmonella) after 7 days on treated support.
What is the thermal resistance of the coating ?
It is resistant to thermal shocks up to 90 °C for water and 120 °C for steam.
Packaging and storage
What is the shelf life of the product ?
12 months from the date of manufacture, in its original packaging, stored at more than 5°C protected from frost and in a ventilated place.
Why did I only get one jar when I'm supposed to get two ?
The resin kits of the SOUPLETHANE 5 brand contain two pots that are assembled. Indeed, the kit contains the two components already pre-dosed : you can refer to the videos on each product page.
Can the mixture be stored ?
No, the product will have hardened, but the unmixed SOUPLETHANE 5 kit can be kept for one year under cover.

Delivery times depend on product availability and destination :
Within mainland France : 2–5 business days
In Europe : 4–8 business days
Outside Europe : depends on incoterms and customs clearance

Can we collect the order directly ?
Yes. Pickup is possible from our warehouse in Mignières (Eure-et-Loir, France), by appointment. Please notify us in advance to prepare loading.
